Executive Director, PS Niraula had a fruitful meeting with Manuela Moollan, a leading environment consultant, based in Singapore on 9th September as an outcome of a virtual meeting with her and the Director of Clean Up Nepal, to develop a project in the Annapurna region in Kaski district. As a result, both CEEN and Clean Up Nepal will jointly conduct a preliminary assessment of the area soon before finalizing the proposal. The project will be focused on climate change, biodiversity, and waste management issues, mainly involving schools, communities, and local government officials.
During this trip, he also visited the Singapore Botanical Gardens to learn more about conservation efforts, from Dr. Yee Wen Low, one of the senior SBG officials.
